In the winter of 2001 Elton John set out on the road with Billy Joel again with their very popular 'Face To Face' concert series.[1][2] The tour started in Honolulu, Hawaii (somewhere Elton and Billy had not performed together before).[3] This first leg of the tour came to close with a two date stint at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on February 17 and 18.[4]
Elton and Billy then picked up the tour again on April 9 in Denver, Colorado[5] and the 2001 performances came to a close with a two night stint at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota[6] on May 15 and 16.
Elton and Billy would perform the 'Face To Face' concerts again next time, the following year.[7]
